A Library Professional with a zeal to serve the country and humanity.

Ajay Saini is currently the Librarian at Directorate of Education {DOE}, Delhi. Before joining DOE, he worked as a Librarian in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS),one of India’s famous leading brand of School system in India. Prior to this , he was Librarian at IPD College , Delhi, India. He did his Masters in Library and Information Science from IGNOU; MA in Public Administration from IGNOU ; MBA in Financial management from Punjab Technical University; PGDLAN from Annamalai University, Chidambaram; PGDRM from Madurai Kamraj University ; BSC(G) from University of Delhi;Diploma in information Technology from UNIQ International Education,Delhi.

Ajay Saini`s main motto of life to secure a challenging position where I can effectively contribute my skills and utilize them in the best possible manner, so as to create and innovative newer mechanisms useful for humanity.

He coordinated a number of Professional development programmes (E Granthalaya Installation, Seminars, Workshops,Talks, etc.) under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, and other professional organizations. He has written text book chapters, and published research papers in Journals, Conference Proceedings, Books and Manuals.

Ajay Saini has created and been administering many blogs and websites for the benefit for students as well as the community.

I am happy to share my ideas and views on library administration, development strategy of libraries, Web 2.0, Library 2.0, (Blogs,) and on Librarianship.
